LEEBON

Jedi Master Leebon, an otter-like Selonian, serves the Jedi Order while instructing the Twi’lek Matthea Cathley in the ways of the Force. Both Master Leebon and Padawan Cathley operate out of Jedha, a moon with deep spiritual significance for Force users and pilgrims.

Leebon teams with Jedi Knight Oliviah Zeveron during the Battle of Jedha, when warfare erupts between Eiram and E’ronoh loyalists in the middle of the Holy City. The two Jedi defend the iconic statue of the Final Protector, but they cannot prevent their opponents from toppling the statue into the dust below. Fanatics belonging to the Path of the Open Hand capture Leebon and expose her to a powerful Nameless creature called the Great Leveler. This particular beast can separate Jedi from their connection to the Force, and after draining Leebon, leaves her a lifeless husk.

Leebon’s lightsaber projects a bright green energy beam. Its hilt incorporates stone-carved and metal elements, and its squarish shape makes the hilt easy to grip in the broad paw-like hand of a Selonian. From the beveled emitter to the tapered endcap, it is marked with pleasingly angled patterns.
